Happy Mind Society is created by Alana Robinson and Kirsty Hawker, psychology-trained practitioners who translate evidence-informed ideas into grounded tools for everyday life.

Alana Robinson

Alana holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling from Abertay University, graduating with First-Class Honours, and an ILM Level 7 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring.

Her further training includes trauma-informed practice, CBT foundations, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and somatic coaching. Her work brings together psychology, coaching and compassionate education, with particular interest in how nature, sound, stress and emotional regulation shape cognition and wellbeing.

Kirsty Hawker
Co-founder · Lead author

Kirsty Hawker

Kirsty holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling from Abertay University, graduating with Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1). Her honours research focused on ADHD, wellbeing and stress under full ethical approval.

Her professional development spans trauma-informed practice, counselling-informed approaches, mindfulness, neurodiversity and child and family wellbeing. She focuses on turning evidence-informed psychology into clear tools people can actually use when life feels heavy.
